View from the Top of the Falls
Amicalola Falls is a Georgia State Park located in northwestern Dawson County. The park is delightful and today was a perfect day to visit. The only problem was that “everyone and his brother” converged on the park today.
The wildflowers growing along the lower part of the falls are nearly always the first to display their glory. Today I found the future to be promising evidenced by a showing of leaf growth and a few young flowers. I’ll visit again a little later in the week.
