RootsTech: Plan Now for 2012

Plan Now! Techie Genies will not want to miss RootsTech next year February 2–4, 2012. It can’t get much better than this—the coming together of programmers and genealogists. Where else can we interact with those wonderful folks that dream about and design software. This is a very different conference and I’m really liking it!

Those who could not be here in Salt Lake City this year do have an opportunity to get a bit of the flavor by attending selected sessions virtually. Tomorrow (Thursday, February 11th) you may attend  the following live programs from the your home (or office):

8:30 – 9:30 am            Changing Face of Genealogy — Curt Witcher

9:45 – 10:45 am            Cloud Computing: What It Is and How It Has Been Used — Brian Pugh

3:00 – 4:00 pm            The Power of PDF: Tools for Every Genealogist  — Josh Taylor

On Saturday you may enjoy:

8:30 – 9:30 am             Personal Archiving and Primary Documents — Brewster Kahle
1:45 – 2:45 pm            Virtual Presentations Roundtable — Thomas MacEntee
