Remembering Family Who Served Our Country

A Time to remember two special men in my life who served our country during World War II: my late husband, Charles H. Geiger who served in the the U.S. Navy and my Dad, Oscar H. Woodward, Jr.,  who served in the U.S. Marines.

I’m also thinking of other family members who served: my twin, Peter, served in the Army during the Berlin Crisis; and my great grandfather, Daniel R. Woodward who served with Co E in the 16th New Hampshire Regiment during the Civil War.

I had at least two ancestors who served in the American Revolutionary War, Enoch Adams (1755-1842), and Josiah Brown (1742-1831).
