52 Ancestors: #23 William Jenkins

WILLIAM JENKINS was born on 8 June 1811 in Lee, Stratfford County, New Hampshire.[1] William died on 18 March 1895 and was buried in Loudon Village, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. [2]

On 2 August 1832 William married JOANNE B. FOSS, daughter of John Foss & Lucy Hayes, in Gilmanton, Belknap County, New Hampshire.[3] Born on 18 April 1811 in Strafford, Strafford County,[4]  Joanne B. died on 25 November 1888 at the age of 77.[5]

They had the following children:

i.            MARY H. JENKINS, born on 10 January 1833 in New Hampshire and died, 30 December 1889.[6] Mary was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery

ii.            LOUISE J. JENKINS, born on 26 July 1836 in New Hampshire and died on 9 February 1900.[7] She was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery.

iii.            JOANNA FRANCES JENKINS, born on 7 March 1839 in New Hampshire.

iv.            EMMA ADELINE JENKINS, born on 9 November 1847 in Barnstead, Belknap County, New Hampshire.[8] Emma Adeline died in Loudon on 6 March 1906.[9] She was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery.[10]

v.            COMFORT ETTA JENKINS, born on 1 April 1850 in New Hampshire and died on 19 March 1854.[11] She was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery. [12]
